Roles and Responsibilities: SAP BASIS Technical Consultant with SolMan expertise �L2/L3 Level   HCL is now seeking talented and Senior Information Technology professional with expertise as a Basis Technical Administrator.   Job Description: � Provide technical expertise and consulting on SAP Basis systems to process teams and IT staff. � Establish the infrastructure standards and requirements. Recommend best method and tools to improve process � Install, configure, integrate, develop, and maintain SAP Suite for Products - ECC, CRM, BI, SCM, PI , EP, NW , CE 7, NWDI, TREX , SLD, SAP Solution Manager,etc. � Design and implement the non- SAP integrations for products such as Cognos, WebSphere, eMail, Messaging Services, Portal application products etc � Develop, plan, install/upgrade, build, configure, integrate and test various SAP Products in the complex SAP Landscape per custom business process requirements. � Develop and maintain complex SAP multi-tier/integrated processes and procedures to support the complex SAP Landscape complex SAP projects/tasks such as SLD, CTSPlus, Enhancement Package, Support Stacks, add-on packages, SSO, SNC, SSL, JCO, ADS, PI/Portal Contents, WebDynpro, Client Copies, SMD, EarlyWatch, GLFU Sessions, Language Imports, Kernel Patches. � Plan, implement, test, document complex SAP multi-tier processes and procedures for SAP Backup, Recovery, SAP Flashcopy, and SAP system copies/refreshes, Capacity Planning for DASD, OS, CPU, and SAP App Server Requirements, Workload Balancing across the complex SAP Landscape, SAP DR and SAP High Availability to synchronize and ensure step progression of SAP Core products, SAP and non-SAP interfaces, and UNIX/LINUX/Windows, SAPServer, SAPApps, SAPDB Performance requirements, parameters, tuning, testing. � Develop SAP processes and procedures for problem analysis/determination and provide long term solutions. SAP software components and associated configuration/parameter files for SAP CCMS. � Determine SAP security parameters to ensure SAP landscape security and audit compliance. (including 'Single Sign-on') � Research and implement solutions for Basis functionality in the areas of performance monitoring, tuning, and systems configuration, design and implementation and upgrades (including Enhancement packages). � Research OSS notes and keeps SAP patches current. Install new releases of SAP as appropriate. � Proactively monitor SLAs and analyse of SLA violations along with module leads and communicate to client / program manager. � Instal and Configure all scenarios in Solution Manager � Coordinate with developers and Functional Consultants for all BASIS related activities � Train Customer's Tech Support Team and Provide First Level Support to the Customer Tech Support Team � Prepare and Update Documents for System Architecture as well as Server sizing � Build a Basis team to support the SAP implementations/support;Prepare, guide and ensure that team follows the specifications / standards / guidelines / design. Qualifications & Experience � Graduate/Post Graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. � Certification in SAP BASIS is desirable � Total 5 years experience with following experiences o 2-3 years of SAP/Basis experience in administration of Windows/any of the flavors of UNIX and Linux with various databases like SQL Server/Oracle o Minimum of 1 years of SAP Solution Manager Experience. o Minimum of 1 years of SAP Java Stack experience. o Minimum of 2 full cycle SAP implementation Experience o Experience as System Administrator/DBA for 2 to 3 years prior to SAP.
