Web Transactions uses SAP Business Connector to establish
communication between the Web Transactions kernel and any other SAP R/3
application. SAP BC enables the access of functions (RFCs) and function groups (BAPIs)
of the SAP R/3 systems by providing SAP services that invoke the RFCs or BAPIs
in SAP R/3 applications.
These services are encapsulated in Web Transaction SAP
services that are supplied with the SAP BC and form interface for the methods of
wtcSAP class. This wtcSAP facilitates users to deal with the SAP BC services via
a template. The basic architecture for web transaction for SAP BC is given in
the figure below.
